Our Zero Spy Philosophy
At LogBucks, we believe your grocery shopping habits reveal intimate data about your health, family situation, and ethical choices. That is why we never sell your shopping carts or your receipts and expenses to data brokers or advertising networks.
This Privacy Policy explains how Tech Wagon, operating under the name Logbucks ("Logbucks", "we", "our" or "us"), collects, uses, stores, protects and, when necessary, discloses information relating to its users.
Logbucks is currently intended for users located in Canada and the United States.
We attach particular importance to the protection of privacy. In particular, we apply a principle of data minimization: we only request the information necessary for the operation of Logbucks and the provision of its features.

2. The information we collect
We limit the collection of personal information to what is reasonably necessary for the operation of Logbucks.
2.1 Creating an account
When a user creates a Logbucks account, we only request:
- Their first name;
- Their email address.
- Their country
- Their timezone
- The language they want to use
- The currency they want to use in their receipts and expenses
We do not request, for account creation:
- A postal address;
- A phone number;
- A date of birth;
- A bank card number;
- Payment information directly in our systems;
- Other personal information that is not necessary for the operation of the account.
3. Information provided by the user
During the use of Logbucks, a user may voluntarily provide us with additional information as part of the application's features.
This may include information contained in tickets, documents, comments, requests, messages or other information that the user chooses to transmit to us.
This information is stored to allow Logbucks to provide the features requested by the user, including access to their history and features associated with tickets.
We do not sell this information.
4. Location
Logbucks may request permission to access the user's location.
This feature is optional.
Location is only used when the user chooses to authorize it, in particular to present results or services located near their position.
We do not store the user's location.
When the location feature is used, it serves to perform the search for nearby results. The user's precise location is not recorded in the Logbucks account and is not stored by Logbucks for this purpose.
The user can refuse access to their location or withdraw this authorization from their device settings.
Refusing location does not prevent the general use of Logbucks, but certain proximity-based features may be limited or unavailable.
5. How we use information
We use the information collected only for the purposes for which it was provided or when its use is otherwise permitted or required by law.
This may include:
- Creating and managing the user account;
- Authenticating the user;
- Providing Logbucks features;
- Storing and displaying tickets and information provided by the user;
- Providing nearby results or features when the user authorizes location;
- Sending notifications related to the operation of the service;
- Sending email communications related to the account or service;
- Managing subscriptions;
- Ensuring security and preventing abuse;
- Performing backups;
- Maintaining and improving the reliability of the infrastructure;
- Responding to user requests;
- Complying with our legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not use our users' personal information to sell personal profiles to third parties.
6. Push notifications and emails
Logbucks may send:
- Push notifications;
- Emails related to the account;
- Communications related to the operation of the service;
- Information concerning features, when applicable.
When possible, users can disable non-essential communications directly from the application or use the unsubscribe mechanism available in emails.
Some communications strictly necessary for the operation or security of the account may continue to be sent when necessary.
The user can also disable push notifications from their device settings.
7. Cookies and Google Analytics
The Logbucks website currently uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for the purpose of analyzing and understanding the use of the site.
We use a cookie consent banner allowing the user:
- To accept analytical cookies;
- Or to refuse them.
Non-essential analytical cookies are not used before the user has made their choice when consent is required.
If the user refuses analytical cookies, the essential features of the site remain available to the extent possible.
We may evolve the analytics tools used by Logbucks. In case of significant change, this policy may be updated.
8. Subscriptions and payments
Logbucks offers subscriptions that can be purchased depending on the platform used.
Website
Payments made on the website are handled by Stripe.
Logbucks does not store complete bank card numbers or complete payment card information in its own systems.
Payment information is processed in accordance with the systems and policies of the relevant payment provider.
Android
Purchases made through the Android application may be processed by Google Play Billing.
iOS
Purchases made through the iOS application may be processed by the payment system integrated into Apple's App Store.
Logbucks does not store the complete information of the bank cards used in the payment systems of these platforms.
Information relating to the subscription may however be necessary for Logbucks to enable the activation, management or verification of the subscription, depending on the platform and the technical integration used.
9. Service providers
To operate Logbucks, we may use technical or commercial providers who process certain information on our behalf.
These providers may notably be involved in:
- Hosting and infrastructure;
- Backups;
- Payments;
- Notifications;
- Sending emails;
- Site analysis;
- Services necessary for the operation of the application.
We select these providers based on their role and put in place reasonable measures to protect the information processed.
When appropriate, provider access to data is limited to what is necessary to provide the service.
10. We do not sell your data
Logbucks does not sell the personal information of its users.
We do not sell users' personal data to data brokers or third parties for the purpose of building or marketing personal profiles.
In particular, we do not sell:
- Email addresses;
- First names;
- Tickets;
- Information provided in tickets;
- Account information;
- User locations.
We may however communicate certain information to technical providers when necessary for the operation of Logbucks, in accordance with this policy.
11. Data security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration or unauthorized disclosure.
Our security architecture notably includes, depending on the systems concerned:
- Encryption of data at rest with AES-256 encryption;
- Access control mechanisms;
- Backups;
- Off-site backups;
- Multiple replicas of certain services;
- Measures intended to ensure service continuity and availability.
We aim for an API availability of 99.99% as part of our infrastructure architecture.
This availability constitutes a technical objective and does not constitute an absolute guarantee of absence of interruption, particularly in the event of an incident, maintenance, third-party provider outage, event beyond our control or exceptional circumstances.
No electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed as absolutely secure. We nevertheless continue to improve our security measures and our infrastructure.
12. Backups
We perform backups to protect the information necessary for the operation of Logbucks and to enable service restoration in the event of an incident.
Some data may therefore continue to appear temporarily in backups after their deletion from active systems.
When data must be deleted, we apply our deletion and backup lifecycle procedures. Residual copies present in backups are deleted or become inaccessible as part of the normal course of their retention cycle.
13. Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to provide the service, to ensure our legitimate interests when applicable, or when retention is necessary or required by law.
Account-related information may be retained as long as the account is active.
Tickets and information provided by the user may be retained to allow the user to use Logbucks features and to retrieve their history.
When a user requests the deletion of their account, we delete the personal data associated with their account to the extent applicable and subject to legal obligations, security needs, abuse prevention, dispute resolution or data that must be legally retained.
Some data may temporarily remain in backups in accordance with our normal backup and deletion cycle.
14. Account and data deletion
The user may request the deletion of their account and data.
The request can be made via the deletion feature available in the application,.
After reasonable verification of the request, we will proceed with the deletion of the relevant information, subject to the exceptions provided by law or necessary for security, fraud and abuse prevention, dispute resolution or compliance with legal obligations.
15. Your privacy rights
Depending on your place of residence and the laws applicable to you, you may have different rights regarding your personal information.
These rights may include:
- Requesting access to the personal information we hold about you;
- Requesting correction of inaccurate information;
- Requesting the deletion of certain information;
- Withdrawing consent when processing is based on it;
- Requesting information on how your data is used;
- Objecting to certain processing when permitted by applicable law;
- Requesting information regarding the categories of data collected and the relevant recipients.
We may request certain information in order to reasonably verify the identity of the person making a request.
We do not discriminate against a user for exercising a right provided by law.

When California data protection laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), as amended, apply to Logbucks and the relevant user, additional rights may be available.
These rights may include, subject to the exceptions provided by law:

- The right to request the deletion of certain personal information;
- The right to request correction of inaccurate information;
- The right to know certain information regarding the use and disclosure of personal information;
- The right to opt out of certain sales or sharing of data when these notions are applicable;
- The right to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information when this right is applicable;
- The right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

17. Canada
When Canadian personal information protection laws apply to Logbucks, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act ("PIPEDA") when applicable, we undertake to apply principles of limited collection, purpose, consent, security, transparency, access and appropriate retention.
We notably seek to only collect the information necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
Users can contact us to request access to their personal information, request correction or ask a question regarding our privacy practices.
18. Transfers and processing outside your place of residence
To provide Logbucks, certain data may be processed or stored in infrastructures located in another province, state or country, particularly when we use technical service providers.
When necessary, we take reasonable measures to protect personal information in accordance with applicable laws.
19. Children
Logbucks is not intended for children and does not target persons who do not have the age required to use the service in accordance with applicable legislation.
The application is distributed on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, where age restrictions and parental control mechanisms may apply to limit children's access to applications that are not intended for them.
If we learn that a child has provided us with personal information in violation of applicable rules, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information and stop processing it.
20. Security incidents
In the event of a security incident that may present a risk to personal information, we will take appropriate measures to contain, analyze and remedy the incident.
When required by applicable law, we will notify the relevant persons and/or the competent authorities in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
21. Changes to this policy
We may modify this Privacy Policy to reflect:
- The evolution of Logbucks;
- The addition or modification of features;
- Changes to our providers;
- Legal or regulatory changes;
- Changes in our data processing practices.
